Terms of Use.
Last updated: October 8, 2026
The short version
- FORGE gives training and nutrition guidance — not medical advice. Check any program with your doctor first.
- Training and outdoor sports carry real risk. You decide what you do, and you're responsible for your own safety.
- Plans, targets and food estimates (from a photo or a description) are approximate. Treat them as a starting point.
- Be decent in the community. We can remove posts and accounts that aren't.
- Fuel+ renews monthly. Cancel anytime; it stays on until the end of the month you paid for.
The full terms below are what count. Please read them — they include limits on our liability.
1. Who we are
FORGE is a training app run by an independent developer (“FORGE”, “we”, “us”). These terms are an agreement between you and us about using the FORGE app and website.
By creating an account or using FORGE, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use FORGE. Questions? Email support@forgeendure.com.
2. Who can use FORGE
You must be at least 16 years old to use FORGE. If you're under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you need a parent or guardian's permission, and they agree to these terms for you.
3. Not medical advice
FORGE gives general training and nutrition guidance. It isn't medical advice, and it doesn't replace a doctor, physical therapist, registered dietitian or qualified coach who knows you.
Talk to your doctor before starting any training or nutrition program — especially if you're new to exercise, pregnant or recently postpartum, over 40 and starting something new, or have a heart condition, high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, an injury or any other health condition, or take medication.
Stop right away and get medical help if you feel chest pain, pressure or tightness, dizziness or faintness, unusual shortness of breath, a racing or irregular heartbeat, confusion, or sharp or worsening pain. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
4. Training and the outdoors carry real risk
Endurance, strength and mountain sports can cause injury, illness and, rarely, death — even when you do everything right. That includes:
- Endurance training: overuse injuries, overtraining, and heart events in people with hidden conditions.
- Open water swimming: drowning, cold water, currents and boats. Never swim alone — swim with a buddy or where there's supervision, and know the conditions.
- Mountaineering, ski touring and climbing: avalanches, falls, rockfall, crevasses, weather and remoteness. These are objective hazards that no app can judge for you.
- Heat: heat exhaustion and heat stroke, dehydration, and drinking too much water during long events (low blood sodium).
- Altitude: altitude sickness, which can become life-threatening.
- Training outdoors: traffic, terrain, wildlife and other people.
You choose what you do, when, where and how hard. You're responsible for your own safety, equipment and training partners, for judging conditions, and for getting the skills and education an activity needs (avalanche training, for example). To the fullest extent the law allows, you take on these risks yourself.
5. Plans and estimates are approximate
Training plans, zones, load scores, schedules and fuel targets are built from what you tell FORGE and from published research. They're general estimates, not a prescription made for you, and they can be wrong for you. Adjust or stop when your body says so.
Estimates of calories and macros from a food photo or a description of your meal are approximate. Portion sizes, oils, sauces and hidden ingredients can't always be seen in a photo or told from a description. Don't rely on FORGE for:
- medical or clinical nutrition, or managing diabetes or any other condition;
- food allergies or intolerances — FORGE can't tell you whether a food contains an allergen;
- managing an eating disorder.
If food, weight or exercise starts to feel like it's taking over, please talk to a doctor or a specialist support service.
6. Your account
Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and use one account per person. You're responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else got in, change your password in Account and tell us at support@forgeendure.com.
Your training log lives in this browser on your device. Browsers can clear stored data, so export a backup from More → Export everything now and then. We can't recover what was only on your device.
7. Community rules
FORGE's community works because people are decent to each other. Please don't:
- harass, threaten, bully or demean anyone, or post hateful, violent or sexually explicit content;
- share someone else's private information, or photos of people without their OK;
- impersonate anyone, spam, or post scams or ads;
- post fake activities or game the crowns and league;
- post anything illegal, or anything you don't have the right to share;
- scrape, overload, break into or reverse engineer FORGE, or get around its limits or paywall.
Use Report on any post that breaks these rules. We may remove or hide content, and suspend or close accounts, that break these terms or put others at risk — with or without notice.
While you're signed in, finished workouts are shared to the community automatically, and new accounts start out Public. Turn this off in More → Auto-share completed workouts, or change who sees your posts in Account → Privacy. Our Privacy Policy lists what a post includes.
You own what you post. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store and show it inside FORGE to the audience you choose, only as needed to run FORGE. That license ends when you delete the content or your account.
8. Coaches
Coaches on FORGE are independent. They aren't our employees or agents, and we don't check their qualifications, certifications or insurance. Their programming and advice are theirs, and FORGE isn't responsible for them — choose a coach the way you would anywhere else.
Coaching payments are processed by Stripe through Stripe Connect. You pay monthly; Stripe passes the payment to your coach, minus FORGE's platform fee. You can stop coaching anytime from My coach. Ending a coaching relationship stops future payments; the current month isn't refunded unless the law requires it.
If you coach on FORGE, you're responsible for your advice, any qualifications, licenses and insurance you need, and your own taxes. Stripe's terms apply to your payouts.
9. Fuel+
Fuel+ is an optional subscription: snap a photo of your food, or describe what you ate, and get an estimate of its calories and macros. Apart from Fuel+ and any coach you choose to pay, FORGE is free — including logging meals by hand and saving meals to log again.
- Price: a monthly price, shown at checkout before you pay. Taxes may apply.
- Free tries: new accounts get a few free tries (a photo or a description each) so you can see it work first.
- Renewal: it renews automatically every month and charges your card on file until you cancel.
- Cancel anytime from Account → Fuel+ → Manage billing. It won't renew, and Fuel+ stays on until the end of the month you've paid for, then stops. Deleting your account cancels it right away.
- Refunds: no refunds or credits for partial months, except where the law requires.
- Daily limit: there's a daily limit on photos and descriptions together, shown in the app, to keep it fair and fast for everyone.
- Failed payments: Fuel+ keeps working for a short grace period while you update your card, then pauses.
- Price changes: we'll tell you before a new price applies. It starts at your next renewal after the notice, and you can cancel before then.
Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see your full card number. If we ever stop offering Fuel+, we'll cancel your subscription so you aren't charged again.
10. No warranty
We work hard on FORGE, but it's provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises or warranties of any kind — including that FORGE is accurate, fit for a particular purpose, safe for your health, or uninterrupted and error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- FORGE and its owners, staff and partners aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill.
- FORGE and its owners, staff and partners aren't liable for injury, illness, death or other loss arising from training, nutrition or activities you do, or from advice you follow — from FORGE, a training plan, a food estimate, a coach or another user.
- Our total liability for all claims relating to FORGE is limited to the greater of what you paid FORGE in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50.
Some places don't allow some of these limits. Where that's the case, they apply only as far as the law allows, and nothing here limits rights you have that can't be waived.
12. Indemnity
If you break these terms, misuse FORGE, or something you post or your coaching leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim (including legal fees), to the extent the law allows.
13. Ending things
You can stop using FORGE anytime, and delete your account in Account → Delete account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, harms others or puts FORGE at risk, and we may change or stop offering FORGE or parts of it — with notice where reasonable.
The parts of these terms that should naturally last — not medical advice, risk, no warranty, limits on liability, indemnity and governing law — keep applying after your account ends.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as FORGE changes. We'll update the date at the top, and for meaningful changes we'll tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using FORGE after that, you're agreeing to the new terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the U.S. state where FORGE's operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the courts there, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
16. Contact
